Topscorers: Peredery 6, Burgaard 4 , Nocandy 4 (Metz) and Tranborg 8, Frafjord 7, Breistøl 5 (Esbjerg)

Team Esbjerg sbjerg has arrived to France with inky 10 players (two of these goalkeepers), having injuries in Jacobsen 6, Ingstad and Polman.

In the first 15 minutes Esbjerg were leading and controlling the match, but Mezt with a wider squad managed to refresh the team and win the first half 18-14.

In the second half Esbjerg had a storming start, 1-6,taking back the lead, 19-20.Tranborg, Frafjord and Breistøl made the main job and were in front 23 – 27, when Metz refreshed the team again with replacements and with an incredible final of the game, won the match 31 – 29, against an exhausted Danish side. The best scorers for Metz were Olga Peredery, Louse Burgaard, Juirswailly Luciano and Meline Nocandy.
