Group A

SG BBM Bietigheim – FTC Rail Cargo Hungária 25 – 29 (6 – 15)

Topscorers: Smits 6, Maidhof 6 (Bietigheim) and Klujber 8, Kovacsics 5, Schatzl 5 (FTC )

Last weekend Bietigheim defeated badly FTC in their home, but this time was the turn of Hungarians to make the same, leading with a nine goal advantage before the break.

Team Esbjerg – Rostov Don 24 – 25 (12 – 13)

Topscorers: Breistøl 6, Frey 5, Tranborg 5 (Team Esbjerg ) and Managarova 6, Bobrovnikova 4 (Rostov Don)

Esbjerg is with Nerea Pena in the team, and Rostov without Anna Sen, getting an Acbilles injury and being sidelined for 6 weeks.

It was a balanced, exciting game, where hosts had the chance in the last second to get the draw from a penalty, but Marit Røsberg Jacobsen missed the 7 meter throw facing Gabisova in the Russian goal.

Group B

Odense HC – CSKA Moscow 26 – 25 (12 – 11)

Topscorers: Lois Abbingh 9, Kyndboel Cohrt 4, Iversen 4 (Odense) and Ilina 6, Dmitrieva 5 (CSKA)
