Spain had a good start, having the lead in the first twenty minutes against Russia, but the team of Ambros Martin fought back, took the lead, 13-11 at the pause. In the second half Russia made it easy, winning by 9 goals at the end, even without Anna Vyakhireva, Anna Sen and Elena Mikhalichenko. Spain had to play without Alexandrina Barbosa.

Romania – Germany 19 – 22(10 – 13)

Germany is playing without their headcoach Hank Groener on the bench, infected and isolated in Germany. Romania misses Pintea, Moisa and Dedu, also because covid19 infection and isolation.

Germany made a dream start, 1-6, but Romania worked themselves back slowly and closed the gap 10-13.Neagu had a really bad day, meanwhile Yulia Dumanska was the best player of Romania. Germanyade a good first half, but in the second one they had problems scoring on Dumanska, being saved of their solid defense. Final result: 19-22.
