Topscorers: Nze Minko 5.Sercien Ugolin 5, Lacrabere 4, Kanor 4 (FRA) and Bobrovnikova – Managarova – Skorobogatchenko 5 goals each (RUS)

Russia had the advantage during the first half and France ran after the result the entire time. Russians led 16-19 before the pause but in the second half France managed to play a better game and got one point at the end. Both teams have now 7 points accumulated on the top of the group I, which is still not enough for a secure semifinal berth.
