It was an important game for the both teams, for Germany could mean 6 points and a much bigger chance to reach the semifinals, Netherlands would have win by 2 goals to keep their chance for the semifinals. Two amazing goalkeepers saved the goals, both Eckerle and Wester made a fantastic match, but there were many mistakes on both sides. At the end the Dutch team won by 1 goal, 28-27, which means that they are out of the race for the semis.

Player of the match: Dinah Eckerle (GER)
