As we have already written about this earlier, Norwegian rightback Amanda Kurtovic will join on loan the Turkish club Kastamonu Belediyesi.
Kurtovic has announced at the beginning of December 2020 that she will leave her club Győri Audi ETO KC with immediate effect and will spend the rest of the season on loan at another club which cannot be a CL participant. The reason is that she did not get playing time and that’s why she was also sidelined at the Norwegian NT. Her contract is still running with the Hungarian club until 2022 June so there are good reasons to believe that she will return from the next season to Győr. Lately there are information about a possible headcoach change at the club, that would also count for the 29 years old player.
Now is officially announced that Kurtovic joined Kastamonu where the headcoach is the Danish Helle Thomsen. The Dane is known about her including leader style, and her special vision in handbal where she first sees the human in a player she is working with.
Kastamonu is participating in the European League (former EHF Cup).
