Stine Oftedal, playmaker:
“I feel that there is always a lot of pressure on Győr no matter what, but now, this year there is a little bit of extra pressure given the fact that we had to wait two years to get this Final4.
“We have a very strong team and I feel very confident about our play, and I have a lot confidence because those around me. If every player puts their little extra into the game and the team, so we are unbeateble”
“Ambros Martin arrived and brought some changes, but the most he gives us is the good feeling we get together as a team, we want to get better, giving ourselves an extra boost.”
Ambros Martin headcoach:
“Brest is a very strong team, they have improved a lot in the last two years. But my experience is that everything what happened before the Final4, every game you won ot how you played, is not counting here. The athmosphere, the program, everything is just different here.
“We watched at the previous matches and of course we know that we have to be ourselves in the semifinal, but try to do something totally different in order to be able to get the victory this time and not a draw.”
Eduarda Amorim, backplayer:
“This will be a very special weekend for me, my last Champions League matches after all these years at the club. I dont want to think about the farewell or how the previous Final4s were, I just want to enjoy together with my teammates, show how great team we are and to play our best handball.
“Ana Gros – will be very difficult to stop her, she is in a fantastic shape, and scores 7-8 goal even if she has a bad day…We are preparing of course to stop her, but we have to focus on the other great players from Brest too. Our main goal is to win the semifinal first, we are ready and excited.
