Henny Ella Reistad: “I will never forget this!”

Henny Ella Reistad has been awarded as MVP of the tournament at the DELO EHF FINAL4 in Budapest. She scored 22 goals in the two matches this weekend, 10 against CSKA Moscow and 12 goals in the final against Brest. She showed her singing skills too during the award ceremony, singing “We are the champions..”

In a tv-interview on Viasat4, she shared her thoughts about this amazing performance and about winning the trophy in her last game for Vipers

“It is completely incredible. I can not quite believe that we managed to go all the way in the end, and to make it so convincing as well. I’m so proud of the whole team.

“It must be the best thing we have done. The preparations for the matches and the training we have had have been so good. I look forward to every workout, and I look forward to developing myself in every workout. We have achieved this as a team, with good help from Ole Gustav [Gjekstad].

“I’ve thought about it before. It’s sad, but I’m incredibly glad we did what we did this weekend. Especially when it was the last for several of us. I will never forget this.
