Norway and Spain won their matches against the two South-American teams, Argentina and Brazil, meanwhile Germany lost against France with only one goal.

Norway – Argentina 27 – 23 (13 – 12)

Topscorers: Sagosen 7, Jøndal 6, Reinkind 5, Gulliksen 4 (NOR) and Pizaro 5, Simonet 5, Martinez 4 (ARG)

Brazil – Spain 25 – 32 (16 – 18)

Topscorers: Silva 6, Langaro 4, Chiuffa 4 (BRA) and Sole 5, Gomez-Figueras-Entrerrios 4 (ESP)

France – Germany 30 – 29 ( 16 – 13)

Topscorers: Mem 6, Descat 5, Guigou 4 (FRA) and Kasteing 7, Weinhold 6 (GER)

Group BEasy victories of Denmark against Bahrein, and another slight victory for Sweden and defeat for Portugal. Sweden won their third match in a very close race, this can give them a lot of good experience for the next rounds.

Denmark – Bahrein 31 – 21 (12 – 7)
