In this group the last round was very important for Brazil, Spain, Hungary, teams which still could qualify with victories, and Russia could end fourth in the worst case sceanrio. Brazil lost against France, leaving the competiitoon, Spain lost against Russia and had to wait the end of the game between Hungary and Sweden, where the Hungarian victory meant that Spain is also out of the competiiton on the 5th place of the group.
