Norway started with Katrine Lunde in the goal and they took the lead early 6-3 and 8-5, it looked bright as Mørk, Kristiansen, Brattset were efficient for Norway and Lunde was saving a lot. But Spaniards fought back and leveled the game in the last seconds of the first half, 11-11.

In the second half Norway increased the speed, their defense became more compact, Lunde was like a wall and Mørk, Brattset, Reista continued to score. The hosts had huge problems to crack the Norwegian defense and did not manage to be enough efficient in attacks. Norway won the game clearly 27-21 and goes to the final to meet France.
