Veszprem defeated Aalborg by seven goals in the first leg in Hungary, and before this game Aalborg was struggling with injuries at several players like Barthold, Sandel, Jakobson or Palmarsson.
In front of a sold out arena the first half was a goal show on both sides, but Veszprém was in.lead after thirty minutes, 20-21.
in the second half Aalborg made a honest effort, was in 32-30 lead after 50 minutes played, but Veszprém was not willing to lose the qualification. Aalborg wins the match 37-35, but Veszprém forsto the Final4 in Cologne.
