Media Call: Linn Blohm is ready for the biggest challenge of her career in club-handball

First time in the EHF FInal4

‘I am so happy to be here, all my handball career I was dreaming about this, to be able to play here. When I joined Győr than I had this thought, but still you never know if you and your team will reach the FInal4. The quarter-final against Brest was so long time ago, at least I feel like that, so I couldn’t wait to be here, and now my goal is to enjoy all this.

The atmosphere in the team

‘ Is a very good atmosphere in the team, we worked to leave the lost Hungarian Cup final behind us and now the only things which we are focused on is Esbjerg”

The most important match in her career

“Before the quarter-final against Brest I said that this is the most important match of my career, but now I stepped up and the Final4 is the big thing. This is totally different from what I have experienced before, you feel in your body that this is something bigger and you feel more important and you get power and energy out of it. At the same time, we are in a bubble and we are very focused on our tasks.

“I know that many Hungarians will support Győr on this weekend and I am actually very looking forward to it.

About Team Esbjerg

“We have spoken very much about how to stop Esbjerg and mostly how to defend against Henny Reistad. She is fast, dynamic, and in my opinion a complete player. I have already played against her in the national team, but anyway it will be a very big task and I promise to do my best on the court.

About the All-Star team spot

Linn did not hear that she have been chosen as the best line-player in the CL this season, I gave her the news and she says:

“It is a very big confirmation that hard work pays off, and I am very grateful to everybody have voted on me.’

About how is to be in Győr

“Because there are so many Scandinavian players, it was very easy to integrate into the team, to accommodate both as a player and a person. I felt accepted and welcome from the first day, we are speaking only English during the workouts and matches so everybody feels a part of the whole.

” The fact that there are so many amazing players in every position gives me a big motivation to always improve and work harder on every training, you cannot play badly, you always want to be on your highest level.
